Exporting iTunes Playlist to Synology Audio Station
Anyone out there who owns a Mac, manages the music with iTunes with the files on the Synology NAS and wants to play the music also via the Synology Audio Station?
I felt it was a pain creating all your iTunes playlists again by hand to being able to access them from the Audio Station so I created an AppleScript that does that for you.

In case you have selected one or more tracks inside iTunes, the script determines the albums of these files and creates a playlist for each album in Audio Station.
If no track is selected, the script goes for the selected playlist in the iTunes browser and converts this one for Audio Station.
This script is most useful if placed into the Library/iTunes/Scripts folder in your home directory. But it also can be run from anywhere else.
The scipt depends on that the network share where your music files reside is called music and mounted as /Volumes/music, but this is afaik mandatory for being able to use the Audio Station.
Known issues: It seems as if I have a character encoding issue since special characters appear to be a problem.
And no, I cannot provide anything similar for Windows.
Update 20.11.2010: It surprises me a lot but the script still seems to work, even with the latest iTunes and Synology Disk Station Manager 3.0.
